Mercy Gilbert is a distinguished politician, entrepreneur, and mother of five. She serves as an advisor to governments across Africa and the Caribbean and holds the position of Vice President of Clapton Football Club. Renowned as a community champion, Mercy has earned multiple awards for her global contributions to community and media. Among her accolades are the International Woman of the Year 2023, the Zimachievers Chairman’s Award, and the 13th Women in Media and Leadership Award.
A coach, public speaker, and TV and radio host, Mercy is a committed Pan-Africanist who strives for the betterment of Afro-Caribbean communities both in the diaspora and at home. As a feminist and Ambassador, she is the country head for a prominent women's organization, advocating for education for all, and the eradication of food poverty and human trafficking. Additionally, she is an active lobbyist.
Proudly British-Zimbabwean, Mercy Gilbert is a community leader featured in several books and a brand ambassador. She also serves on the boards of multiple international companies.
